We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow.

A real underrated gem. If you remotely dig the early '70s KRAUTROCK scene, you won't want to miss with elements of Ash Ra Tempel, Hawkwind, Pink Floyd, etc.,
This is truly one of the great space rock albums. With song titles like "Nuclear War In Your Brain", "Space Closure", "Telepathic Children" and "Space Energy Age", you know right away you'll be treated with some truly mindblowing electronic/prog with some very lush synth sounds (Moog, Eminent). Guitar played a larger role in following albums, making "Fragments of Light" their most synth-dominated album while still burninhg with fluid distortion guitar leads interwoven throughout such as on "Windopax and the "Stone Sender" and "Music is Painting in the Air" (which is the closest to the more standard Italian prog fare you expect from the time on this album).
Sensations' Fix guitarist, keyboardist and occasional vocalist Franco Falsini cut his teeth with Italian groups in the '60s before assimilating the heady guitar virtuosity of English rock. In 1969, he moved to Virginia and built a recording studio in his girlfriend's basement, employing little more than his guitar, the newly available Minimoog synthesizer and a 4-track machine. These raw tracks, intended to be simple demos, formed the base of Fragments of Light, the sensational first album by Sensations' Fix.
Original 1974 release on Polydor, Fragments of Light does not bend to mid-'70s genre-classism. Fluid, meditative guitar leads and innovative use of synthesizers, combined with a noted lack of percussion (and vocals) on all but a few songs, have drawn comparisons to Kosmische legends of the turn of 1970. "Space Closure," the only track with live drums, resembles the kinetic progressive rock of fellow Italian Franco Battiato, while the shimmering bliss of "Do You Love Me?" rivals the best of Italian infectious rock melody that Falsini surely absorbed during his time in the States. A certain airy, homespun feel lends Fragments of Light its unique character.
