Description

This is THE version to have of the Gainsbourg masterpiece Bonnie & Clyde and the one that truly captures the freakbeat sound that Gainsbourg looking for. For sale today is a Serge Gainsbourg’s epically rare earliest Canadian pressing of Bonnie & Clyde with 1Y/2Y hand etched matrices, and the heavy cardboard Canadian sleeeve. 

Cover –VG++ the nicest first Canadian press cover I’ve seen (check the pics). Just some fraying at the corners and typical creases. 

Vinyl – visually this looks upper end VG++ to entry NM with some mild hairline marks. It play-grades mostly VG++ with intermittent, non-intrusive surface noise which never detracts from the listening experience.

This LP was play graded cover to cover on a Rega RP6 w/ an Ortofon 2m Black cartridge though my cans - check my profile for feedback. This is a demanding system condition wise and it doesn’t hide ANY faults. In fact it probably magnifies faults. All records wet-vacuum cleaned on a VPI 16.5 before shipped.

 Shipping and handling: this LP will be shipped in Sleeve City Ultimate inner and outer (the very best in my opinion) - vinyl will be out of the sleeve unless otherwise requested. LP will be shipped very securely between two pieces of cardboard. I’ll send you the tracking number as soon as the LP ships. Shipping in the U.S. is $5.00.  All shipping outside the U.S. MUST BE REGISTERED.
