Sérgio Mendes & The New Brasil '77

His career took off with worldwide hits by his group Brasil '66. He has over 55 releases and plays bossa nova heavily crossed with jazz and funk. He was nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song in 2012 as co-writer of the song "Real in Rio" from the animated film Rio.

   Mendes is a unique example of a Brazilian musician primarily known in the United States, where his albums were recorded and where most of his touring took place.

  Mendes has also collaborated with many artists through the years, including The Black Eyed Peas, with whom he re-recorded in 2006 a version of his breakthrough hit "Mas que Nada".

Profile:- US rock band, formed 1972 as a trio by Larry Hoppen, Wells Kelly and John Joseph Hall. The group has evolved over the years and is still active today.

  • Mint - I will not grade Mint unless I am absolutely sure I have not played the record more than once. Vinyl & Labels have NO blemishes

  • Mint Minus [N.M.] - Label and Vinyl looks perfect and plays perfect

  • Excellent - Vinyl has virtually no blemishes, may have minor fine superficial marks Plays Perfect.

  • VG plus - Has the odd superficial mark but plays without any surface noise or skips or crackles. Very close to Excellent. May have sticker

  • VG - Same as above but may have more marks. But still plays without skips or surface noise.

  • GOOD  more noticeable marks than a VG+ but has no skips or jumps. May have SLIGHT surface noise
