GRADING
SLEEVE: EX
1ST edition box is in great condition. There is some very slight yellowing to the white front & rear. The edges are great with no scuffing or wear. The text is fantastic with no wear or fading. The libretto is in similarly excellent condition with a small purple patch to the rear where the dye from the purple record label has leached onto the paper.
RECORDS: EX/EX+/NM
There are a couple of very light scuff / sleeve removal marks to record one and two. These do not sound. The entire set sounds superb with no discernable crackle and no repetitive pops or clicks.
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
