Description
You are bidding on a set of Tchaikovsky Symphonies 1-6 plus Manfred on six DECCA Factory Sample LP's. These recordings are by the Vienna Philharmonic under Lorrin Maazel. They were review copies and played only a few times. The vinyl is in excellent condition with just a few sleeve hairlines. They all play well
Each original LP sleeve has attached the relevant DECCA Musical Notes. These have faded and yellowed somewhat Two have been scanned as examples (Pictures 6&7)
The discs are being supplied with new poly liners and labelling (Pictures 8&9) from the musical notes and a laminated copy of photo-3 for easy reference.. The original liners with notes will be shipped as well to maintain the provenance.

International sale not been listed but, depending on location, may be considered, has bearing in mind that in bespoke packaging of a high value item. As a guide, total costs of around £40-70 would be quoted. These are the real costs with no 'extras'.
In addition to being an excelllent set it gives insight how peer review was conducted 50 years ago before the digital age!!
