Description

I have up for auction a Set of 3 records (Longer Playing 12" 78s) on a white, green and blue label that says Album of American Composers, made by Music Branch of Special Services War Dept.in conjuction with the V-Disc program. The complete Album Set had many records by various Symphony Orchestras and Conductors. This set of three is by NBC Symphony Orchestra Conducted by Arturo Toscanini performing Grofe: "Grand Canyon Suite". Records are CL-10, CL-11, CL-12 which include Part One-Sunrise through Part Six-Cloudburst, concluded on the 6 sides. The records are in excellent condition, hardly any wear and scuffs or scratches are very few, light and surface variety. Surfaces still quite shiny and clean. The records are very thin, flexible, and unbreakable vinyl type. Very lightweight and easy to ship!
