October 27th, 1977 : If you were one of the first to purchase ‘Never Mind The Bollocks’ by the Sex Pistols you got some surprises tucked inside the jacket. One of the best was you got an extra song. When Virgin ran up the record, they originally planned to have eleven tracks, but at the last minute decided it would also include the additional song "Submission" at the bands request. Since the presses were already busy when this decision was made, the extra track included on a one sided single in a small quantity of the first pressing of albums.
This is a one-sided record and is usually separate from the UK original pressing of the Lp. I’m betting you need this to complete your set, right? BTW – this is from the personal collection of Punk Diary 1970-1982 author George Gimarc. IT HAS BEEN IN HIS COLLECTION SINCE 1977, AND IS NOT THE 30th ANNIVERSARY REISSUE. You can check the matrix numbers and that the label flipped for the blank flipside is by the 60s band Harpers Bizarre.
