Description
Japanese pressing of the Great Rock ‘N’ Roll Swindle double album, included is an orchestral track Love Is A Song, which is unique to the Japanese release. The Japanese pressing also includes a cut of Lonely Boy which features extra chat at the end, which is not on standard pressings of the LP from other countries. It is worth noting that this extra chat is also on the rare Australian pressing, however on the Australian pressing it's in the fade out, and therefore not as clear as the Japanese mix. The gatefold sleeve was based on the UK Version 2 sleeve and censored for the Japanese market, however the track listing in the four boxes has been altered to the correct running order - again this is unique to this pressing. Love Is A Song is not listed. The inclusion of Anarchy in The U.K. on side one and the different lettering for EMI, which was altered for the same reason as the record company logos are also removed from the gatefold sleeve. In addition to the obi-strip, the catalogue number is printed on the top right of the front sleeve. Lettering on the spine is in white. Contains a black and white double-sided insert. The labels also contain a number of mis-spellings and errors e.g. Bamby. The track listing here has these mistakes. The labels on both LP's state Side 1 and Side 2.
