Description
Available here is a 7" vinyl single by the Sex Pistols - God Save The Queen b/w Did You No Wrong. Released in the UK by Virgin in 1977, it’s a 1st pressing with the catalogue VS181. A 1st pressing, as confirmed on the Discogs website, it comes with the requisite picture sleeve.
Identifiers - The record has the following matrix marks -
Matrix / Runout - Side A - Etched - VS-181-A-1
Matrix / Runout - Side B - Etched - VS-181-B-1
Vinyl Condition - Very Good+ - Possibly a conservative grading, the disc is clean and reasonably bright and free from any scratches or surface marks. Having listened to both sides, I can confirm is no jumping, sticking or clicks. There’s just a touch of background crackle during the intros, most noticeably on the second side.
Sleeve Condition - Very Good+ - Original picture sleeve with wear around the edges in the form of creasing, rubbing and small splits/nicks. The side opening is most affected in this respect. An loose outer plastic cover is also present.
