Description
This is a single I obtained from part of a collection a few weeks back- held back deliberately for sale as I did some detective work on it. In truth I didn't get a lot of joy and certainly no definitive answers- from "that's got more than a good chance" to "i'm just not sure" so I'm still in the dark; deciding in the end to list it with hope that a far more expert eye than mine might know for sure. SEX PISTOLS "God Save The Queen" original UK virgin A1/B1 first press 45 in autographed sleeve: John, Sid, Paul and Steve with faded signatures and in a dog-eared sleeve, with tears, bends and huge signs of wear. The vinyl itself is G- condition- lots of plays etc....
It comes with next to no provenance, bar the guy I'm selling it for's Dad having lots of punk 45s, and a shoebox of old tickets (not for sale as I tried!) and "he saw the sex pistols 4 times". That's it, ok?! I've asked him over and over and there is nothing else beyond that guys I'm afraid... Either way, we rescued this as it had no plastic sleeve protection and was in a loft with some other records that were going mouldy. He said ask for £500 but I explained we simply couldn't without proof. So I've halved that and we'll see how we get on....
