Description

Welcome to Heart of Wax - Vinyl online record shop. I shall endeavour to post up as many exciting records up here that I find. Usually all from private collections which I've sourced. I'm happy to post out records to all you lovely people of the United Kingdom. Generally each record is secondhand and has been played. All have been cleaned and listened to by myself. And if there are any faults or defects, I will provide them in an honest description below.

SEX PISTOLS - 'LIVE IN TEXAS'

Matrix numbers are:

SP 2800 A Re 1
SP 2800 B R(e) 1

Now then a very odd record has come to my attention. Back in 1978 this was an unofficial live album released entitled 'Live At The Rodeo.' However unofficial as it was it had a sleeve and was distributed by either Slipped Disc records or Ruthless Rhymes. I simply cannot find on the internet this particular record anywhere? What is more unusual is the LP has it's tracklist written on it's yellow labels in biro (potentially from the previous owner, member of the band/management, or maybe a record distributor?) and the sleeve itself may well be a generic blank white sleeve with this makeshift collage all over it. Some parts with lumpy gaffa tape, some with little bits of paper and card stuck down with sellotape?

The tracklisting is exactly the same on 'Live At The Rodeo' as on here. If the sleeve has been created by a previous owner, surely the LP can't have been?? We're either looking at something of incredible interest, a lost item, or potentially a flash in the pan piece of memorabilia.

I simply can't put a price on it so I'm putting it up for auction to let you decide how much it goes for. Happy bidding.

CONDITION

Sleeve - ? - it's all stuck together with masking tape and extra little pieces of card and paper. Not sure if it was originally intended this way or if in fact it has been created by the previous owner?

LP - VG+ - just a few minor play marks. Plays well.

POSTAGE

Please choose additional postage fee:

Royal Mail First Class: £4.00
Royal Mail Second Class: £3.00

OR

Local collection via my house or my record stall (when available) - FREE

I package each record using the 'cardboard and bubble wrap sandwich method.' Sleeve and LP are kept separate within the postage sleeve. It will arrive to your house looking very tasty but please don't attempt to eat it for your dinner. I only recommend popping it on your record player.

INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE

I have offered European and international postage to people on other records which I sell. However one particular continental customer has sent through some horrible feedback and been rather abusive - so I'd prefer to now only ship to somewhere in the UK from here on in. Shame really that we all can't get along. But that's the modern world for you.

It doesn't mean I won't ship abroad but you'll have to send me a message so I can figure out a postage price and whether or not I'm happy to ship this, or any item out to you. Everyone deserves a second chance.

All the best.
