Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols is the first and only studio album recorded by the Sex Pistols, a highly influential and controversial English punk band. Fans and critics alike generally regard the album as an extremely important record in the history of rock music, citing the lasting influence it has had on subsequent punk musicians and other musical genres that were influenced by such punk rock artists.

The album was released on 28 October 1977 on the Virgin Records label,[2] amid controversy arising from the use of the obscenity (in British English) "bollocks" in its title.

Older versions of most of the album's songs also appeared on a bootleg album called Spunk, which consists of demo recordings the band had made during 1976 and January 1977, and which was released shortly before Never Mind the Bollocks.

The sid Vicious signature is dedicated to one of the firemen on strike at the time his name was gary,he along with his son and my best friend (at that time) Richard Wilkinson from holmfirth, who was 12 years old at the time attended the afternoon Sex Pistols gig in Huddersfield 1977. There was a Yorkshire TV programme called Frock 'n' Roll (about the changing face of fashion associated with the music scene) a clip of film was played from the Ivanhoes gig. and at one point you can spot both my friend richard and other striking firemen's kids with johnny rotten and the band............HAPPY DAYS

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT

 

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD

 

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD

 

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR

 

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
