Artist: sex pistols
Title: never mind the bollocks
Pressing: uk, 1977, first press of 1,000
Disc Condition: NM (disc looks unplayed)
Cover Condition: NM- (small smudge on front under "here's," light crease at top right, very light wear, no splits or other major issues).
Notes: This version has the rare V-2086-A2 and V-2082-B1 matrix marks, and my research is telling me that this is one of the first 1,000 copies of NMTB ever pressed. No song listing on back cover, no "sub-mission," includes song timings, includes Chris Thomas and Bill Price producer credits, "EMI" credited to Matlock. Includes original inner sleeve with "UK Patent No. 1,125,555" (sorry that that's a bit blurry). Also includes "another import album - Jem" sticker on front. Disc will be shipped in plastic-lined audiophile sleeve. If you google "philjens pistols nmtb first 1000" you can find more information on this pressing. This happens to be an incredibly clean copy, and i'm sure that another clean copy won't come along any time soon.
Grading is goldmine-based. Shipping will be $4 to USA, $12 to Canada, $18 for overseas. If the auction tops $80, if shipping overseas, I will unfortunately have to send the LP registered, which will cost a total of $30. Thanks!

I received a question stating that the A2/B1 was not in the first press of 1,000 of this LP. I'm basing my assessment off the philjens site where a user submitted that he also had a copy like this, with all the same criteria of the first 1,000, with this same matrix combination as this. (You can read it on that site under the "Update July '12" heading.)
Some people say that the only legitimate copies in the first 1,000 are A1/A1 and A3/A3, and maybe A2/A2. My disclaimer - I BELIEVE that this LP is in the first 1,000, but if you're looking at this auction, you probably know how the history of that pressing is messy. Most importantly, this is obviously a rare matrix variation, and that is the real value to this copy.
