The original British pressing of this amazing debut lp from 1977
The four scruffy blokes were brought together for a foray in music management by rag-trade chancer Malcolm McClaren, and the timing gave him an immediate success with early punk.
The deal for the group was of course daylight robbery - so as naive and raw as they were - once the glamour of fame and infamy subsided they knew they were getting swindled. McClaren also fired Adam & The Ants lead and founder to form Bow Wow-Wow (he responded by making many chart records and raising the middle finger to 'Ma' McClaren!)
It's sad that the Pistols suffered from mismanagement and legal issues that essentially curtailed their career.
Still they recorded some this album to give them a signpost in music history.
The original Pistols reformed 20 years on to redeem their reputation - playing 90 minute sets with capable musicianship, and finally getting financially rewarded and more respect for their efforts.
Thid is the UK PRESSING, with the missing titles from the rear cover. This was probably down to the rush to get the record out, and perhaps with poor communication with the printers.
It has made this initial edition stand out as a collectible.
NO stickers, posters or 7" single included here, so it is sold 'as is'.
CONDITION;
The UK VINYL disc has light wear only and the disc grades VG++, playing loud and clear.
Classic blue/white fade Labels are in EX condition.
The 'ncb' lettering may signify this was an export copy - which may be an even rarer British pressing.
The Single sleeve cover is VG.
There was a seal across the opening, a little residue remains. Some handling wear evident, a little 'wavy' but no splits.
