Description
One of the 'Holy Grails' of Sex Pistols vinyl collecting. This is the original Finland pressed lp from 1977, manufactured and distributed by Polarvox. This in itself is a very hard to find record, but the very first copies also had a Finland made sleeve, again printed by Polarvox. Almost impossible to find complete in any condition, this example has a near mint condition sleeve. Easily identifiable due to the extra bright/sharp pink and yellow cover, along with the Polarvox text on the back. Only a handful of the complete record and sleeve sets have come up for sale in the last few years and I doubt any sleeves have been in better condition. The vinyl itself is excellent/excellent-, with a couple of light hairline scratches. (I've played it once and all sounds fine). Apparently this complete Finland made sleeve and record were only for sale in a couple of Helsinki shops for a few weeks upon first release! Inferior copies to this have previously sold for much higher prices than my starting bid, so now is a great opportunity to acquire your own super collectible Pistols item.
