Description
Due to the fact that i live in Germany i can not ship to the US or worldwide for 4$, therefore the postage rates below are valid. So, please do not bid if you do not agree with my terms. Record Format: LP
Condition: Sleeve in very good used condition (some edgewear, minor ringwear, initials on front at bottom left, labels have a few stains on both sides),
vinyl in very good+/excellent condition, plays perfect!
Comment: This is the original 11 track issue with plain pink rear sleeve (no track listing).
Track listings on labels are timed and producers Chris Thomas and Bill Price are correctly credited just
like EMI is correctly credited to Matlock. I've included a close up of the label showing
side 1 with Liar as the second track - 11 tracks overall.
The record has etched V2086.A3 / V2086.B3 in the runout groove. According to the definitive Sex Pistols Guide
(www.philjens.plus.com/pistols/pistols/pistols_nmtb.htm) this is one of the real first 1000 copies ever made:
"The best way to know if you have got one of the rare real first 1000 copies is the matrix number: V2086 A1/B1 or
V2086 A3/B3. Why use 2 different matrix numbers for the same pressing? Because the manufacturer used several
pressing machines at the same time. It was also a good way to test all the different sets of plates."
So this is an original first UK pressing of this legendary album.
