For auction the earliest US promo copy of The Sex Pistols "NEVER MIND THE BOLLOCKS" Initial copies of the album were mistakenly pressed without the track Submission being included on the rear sleeve and so a sticker had to be added at the last minute. This is one of those copies.
The record is in fantastic condition. The vinyl is super clean and glossy, just a few barely detectable short hairlines. Clearly this disc has hardly been played in almost 40 years since it was delivered from the pressing plant.
The labels are bright white and clean with no marks, writing or even spindle marks. The sleeve is very smart, retaining its full day-glo colours, no rips or writing, with some rubbing at the corners but, amazingly, completely free from any ugly "saw marks" often found on US promo items.
There are two other company stickers present apart from the crucial "Submission' addition: One is a warning about "unsuitable material" (!) for any radio stations that received this advance copy while the other is the bright pink Warner Bros PROMO sticker familiar to all collectors of such rarities.
It goes without saying that this is one of the most infamous and revolutionary albums in all rock history. To find one of the earliest versions of it in such terrific condition is an opportunity that won't arise too often.
