1ST UK ISSUE OF THIS CLASSIC DOUBLE ALBUM
THE GREAT ROCK N ROLL SWINDLE
VIRGIN VD 2510 RELEASED IN FEB 1979
features the blue text on the back cover that was designed by the late great Malcolm Mclaren for the handbills for the pistols last UK gig at Ivanhoes club on Christmas day 1977
It has the original black and white inner sheet.

the spine of the cover has white lettering which indicates the 1st issue, unlike later versions with red and then yellow lettering. The track listing is in 4 coloured boxes on the inner of the back cover of the gatefold sleeve. The track listing on the sleeve is incorrect which is why this release came with the insert with the correct track listing.

The record labels also contain the correct track listing but also have a message across the top stating " sorry about incorrect track listing on sleeve, its another swindle" THE RECORDS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, they do have one or two very fine lines with the odd crackle on playback, but records play through fantastic.
THE RECORD LABELS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, CLEAN AND FREE OF ANY PEN MARKS ETC..... THE GATEFOLD SLEEVEIS IN OVERALL EXCELLENT CONDITION, it does does have a small slight scuff on front top right corner, please see photos. THERE ARE ALSO 2 STICKERS.......... one on front top left and one on the rear top left
