I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A NICE COLLECTION OF UNIQUE PROMOS / TEST PRESSING AND ACETATE. THIS COLLECTION CAME FROM A PERSON WHO USED TO WORK IN A MAJOR RADIO STATION FROM THE LATE 1960'S TO THE EARLY 1990'S. THERE ARE UNIQUE TEST PRESSING ACETATE ETC.. OF ROCK / PUNK / SOUL / PROG ETC... SO PLEASE KEEP WATCHING MY AUCTIONS OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS FOR THIS ONCE IN A LIFETIME CHANCE TO GET THESE UNIQUE TEST PRESSINGS AND ACETATES.
This is a RARE ORIGINAL UK PROMO GLITTERBEST PRESS KIT of THE SEX PISTOLS from 1977, ORIGINAL ISSUE IN AMAZING CONDITION !!!
This ORIGINAL PRESS KIT was sent by THE SEX PISTOLS managment GLITTERBEST (owned by MALCOLM McLAREN) to press and radio people back in 1977 and was put together by the GLITTERBEST / MALCOLM McLAREN secretary Sophie Richmond and is rumoured that Jamie Reid also had a hand in putting this together although I know for sure that this copy was sent by Sophie Richmond to a radio person (from whom I got this) back in 1977 !!!
The PROMO PRESS PACK included a lot of the band's press interviews, reviews and photos so far from 1976- May 1977 !!!
Only a handful of these PRESS PACKS were sent by the managment back in the day !!!
There are 14 pages all together !!!
I have never seen another of these RARE GLITTERBEST SEX PISTOLS PROMO PRESS kit for sale on Ebay !!!
Not many copies have ever been up for sale or probably survived the last 37 years !!!
The condition is VG+++ / EX (amazing after 37 years !!! only minor rusting around the original staple !!! no tears, no lose pages !!!!)
The press pack size is 30cm by 21cm (A4 size).
This will be posted in a 12" record mailer with extra ardboard sheets for protection !!!
