Sex was a late 60's - early 70's French-Canadian fuzz blues psych-rock band from Montreal, who releasd just two albums.....both now quite rare.

While their self-titled '71 debut is often compared to early Black Sabbath or hard rockers like the obscure Elias Hulk,  their second (and last) "The End of My Life" sees them expanded to a four-piece (adding flute & sax), and venturing into more progressive territory.

A concept album (where the main character ends up dying of syphilis), the music is still very heavy blues-tinged psych rock with sledgehammer drums, furious fuzzy lead guitar and wasted vocals in the vein of fellow-Quebecers like Ellison and Expedition.

Robert Trèpanier (vocals, bass, harmonica), future Leyden Zar co-founder Serge Gratton (drums, congas, xylophone),  Yves Rousseau (lead guitars, vocals) and Pierre "Pedro" Ouellette (sax, flute).
