DEEP PURPLE "SHADES OF DEEP PURPLE". 1968
UK PARLOPHONE YELLOW AND BLACK LABEL
ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING VINYL LP. STEREO.
THE CATALOGUE NUMBER IS PCS 7005.
LAMINATED SLEEVE. SLEEVE PRINTED BY GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE.
MATRIX NUMBERS ARE: SIDE ONE: YEX 689-1. SIDE TWO: YEX 690-1.
STAMPERS ARE: SIDE ONE: 1R SIDE TWO: 1A (As far as my eyesight can tell!).

This is a lovely, rare record.
These are the details to the best of my assessment as an 'amateur'.
Please see pictures - I am happy to take further pictures (within reason) if anyone thinks they will help and answer any questions that I am able to.
Please keep in mind that the pictures have been taken to deliberately accentuate any faults as I assess them and as you will see they have been overexposed deliberately to do this.
Again please make allowances for this - it is a lovely record but I want to be honest.
Let me say outright that this album is NOT being supplied as a mint condition album. I would assess it overall as 'good' for the age.
Front Cover shows a little warping It shows some creases and scuffing, but the laminate does not appear to show any significant lifting.
Rear Cover seems in good condition except for a little stainng to the left hand edge and a slight tear there too. It has some small initials in the upper right corner - see picture.
I do not know if the inner sleeve is original so cannot warrent this - it is plain in nature.
The disc itself has various slight surface scratches and scuffing but these do not appear to be at a depth and do not affect playing. These have been accentuated in the pictures so that you can see the types of marks.The labels have some spindle marks - again see the pictures.
A very rare copy - plays perfectly. From a smoke free, pet free home.

I have added 3 more photos and am happy to send more if anyone sends me their email address. I think I have been too honest! The LP is really not that bad and plays perfectly. I just wanted bidders to be aware that it is not perfect.
It plays fine and looks pretty good - my over-exposures are a bit OTT! Thank you.
