Description

The SHANGRI-LAS! One of the top girl groups of the early 1960s… rare Original Red Bird LP 20-101
PERFECT OUTER SLEEVE has been in its original cellophane; one side was opened. In photo, cellophaned LP is laying atop a plastic inner sleeve. No split seams. CLEAN, SHINY VINYL, shows evidence of being taken in and out of its sleeve by the first owner.  Hardly ever played- maybe once or twice.  As I say, shows streak wear on the A side; I would call them very faint, longish scratches, but not deep gouges. I think these "scratches" may have happened when the original owner took it in and out of the original paper sleeve… ? Record is stored in a plastic sleeve, though the original (crummy) paper sleeve is included.

And now, some annoying details about shipping: 

Customers who request out-of-sleeve shipping and a box will, naturally, pay for a higher weight because of the extra packing materials I insist on, since eBay does not allow insurance. I have often had to pay MUCH higher rates than what I charged because customers in the past pre-paid for items and then requested boxed shipping,  which came out higher than the lower estimated weight. Therefore, please do not pay until you are invoiced! If the final shipping rate is higher than the estimated weight,  I will have to invoice you for the overage. I don't like to pay the post office its exorbitant rates any more than you do. IN ALL INSTANCES, I CHARGE YOU WHAT I PAY- I DON'T MAKE SHIPPING PROFITS. All shipping is done here through eBay / PayPal… I then drop off the items at a post office. I cannot stand in line for post office shipping.
