On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Shangri-Las called 'Leader Of The Pack' and is a UK 1964 MONO 1st pressing on the 1st Press Red Bird label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!! THIS IS THE 1964 UK RED BIRD 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS RED BIRD LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER!!!! THIS LP IS MASSIVELY RARE AND EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK 1964 MONO 1st Pressing and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The Cat. No is RB20 101 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Red Bird label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 1 light hairline, only 2 or 3 light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO nasty loud pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some INCREDIBLY slight MEGA low level touches of background sound on the run on grooves and VERY occassional gap - NOT in the music!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press Laminated Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear (apart from the bottom right edge - which does have some slight 'roughening'), NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear, only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and barely ANY yellowing AT ALL!!!! This cover must grade Very Good+!!!! THIS LP IS MASSIVELY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
