This LP is in great condition but does have a couple minor imperfections that dropped it from a NM-. Play sounded great on my system. Very light static sound in opening then WOW!!! The sound quality is out of this world.
Jacket condition is fair with a straight crease that parallels the jacket opening. Please inspect pictures closely.
DID YOU KNOW? This is the very first Direct To Disc album by Lincoln Mayorga (Sheffield S-9). It was done way back in 1968 as something of an experiment, and as such; was done in very small qualities of less than 1000, which is why it is so rare now over 40 years later. It was sent out to Stereo stores, and was an immediate hit as a demo record because nobody had ever made a recording that was this dynamic before. It is literally the very first modern day audiophile recording. It made people realize that recordings could sound much better than what the major labels were putting out, and it created a whole new "Audiophile" industry of Direct Disc, Half Speed, DBX and digital recordings. It is truly a piece of music history.
