Description

Beautiful copy of the original 1957 stereo LP pressing of Shelly Manne's Modern Jazz Performances of Songs from My Fair Lady, on Contemporary S-7527. Original black "Stereo Records" label. Features André Previn on piano as the main featured player, and the great Leroy Vinnegar on bass. Fantastic classic west coast jazz. The disc is gorgeous, and plays beautifully with only very faint background noise occasionally between some tracks. A few scuffs are to be seen but they don't affect the play. The cover has a little wear with some dinged corners and edgewear. Some ringwear as well, a tiny bit of writing on the back, and a split spine about 5" in the center. Otherwise a very lovely copy.
