I play EVERY tape I list COMPLETELY, and CRITICALLY grade the label, the BOX in its entirety, for tears, splits, wear, markings, and smell, as it WILL alter the overall listing grade, as it should, based on eBay's condition definitions. -NO PUFFING- Others may rate this listing as LIKE NEW or even NEAR MINT, (VERY FEW reel-to-reel tapes are mint, or "near mint") Based on eBay's condition definitions, I have rated this listing ACCURATELY, as GOOD solely due to the flaws in the box ...*

- Played through multiple times to insure quality and fidelity (NOT just, "Play tested")
- Low-torque, clear plastic reel is BRIGHT and SHINY
- Label is CLEAN and CLEAR with a blemish on the upper right-hand side (see attached close-up picture)
- Leadered on BOTH ends PROPERLY with high-quality Scotch/BASF tapes (see attached picture)
- Metal sensor foil installed for auto-reverse operation using high-quality BASF metal foil
(For tape decks with auto-reverse functionality, EXCEPT for the Pioneer RT-707 / RT-709 / RT-909)
- PROPER hold-down tape attached (see attached picture)
* BOX:
- Graphics are clean and clear with MINIMAL signs of wear
- THREE split corners (REPAIRED: using glue NOT tape)
- THREE split seams (REPAIRED: using glue NOT tape)
- NO writing
- NO smoky smell
- NO moldy smell
