Description
VG++/VG++ FIRST PRESSING PITMAN / CUSTOMATRIX MASTER (cover/vinyl)
Title listed on back cover (only) with apostrophe as "The Shirelles' Greatest Hits."
Scepter used the same cover slicks, front and back, for Mono and Stereo pressings, showing a catalog number of Scepter 507 ONLY. The front slick was shifted up or down before being affixed to the cardboard to either hide or display the word 'stereo' [lower case] at the top. No indication on back cover as to Mono or Stereo. Stereo is indicated by label matrix numbers and dead wax matrix numbers.
- Original pressing with red/white/gray/black label and silver lettering.
Bottom of label on both sides reads: SCEPTER MUSIC INC., NEW YORK, N.Y.
