Description
TITLE/ARTIST: This very rare and highly collectible LP -- from 1962 -- by the '50's-'60's super girl's group, The Shirelles along with King Curtis, is on the Scepter Label and is in super nice condition. The album is entitled, "The Shirelles & King Curtis Give A Twist Party" and features 11 great songs. It is just one of many nicely conditioned LPs I'll be listing in the coming days/weeks ahead, including more LPs by The Shirelles, plus others like Ricky Nelson, Floyd Robinson, Cliff Richard, and more. As mentioned already, this LP is in very nice overall condition and features 11 great songs from that time. In my opinion, the condition of both the vinyl and the jacket are very, very good, but, please view the pics below, read about the LP's condition, and judge it all for yourself. LABEL INFO: It is on the Scepter Label, 505, in original MONO. I don't even see any spindle marks around the center circle which indicates to me it may have been played very sparingly. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is extremely shiny, clean and nice---practically as nice as the day it was 1st purchased almost 50 years ago---in my opinion, anyway. A super close look would show some very, very light surface/paper lines, but they are very light and completely uneventful. JACKET INFO: The beautiful, green colored jacket -- with a great "twist" picture of the entire group -- is also in super nice shape, but does have just a couple very small scuff marks in the corner areas. Otherwise, it is just fine and looks great!! So again, please view the pictures below and judge everything for yourself. INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see these early and rare 1950-60's LPs out there very much anymore, espiecally in this kind of decent overall shape, so please have at it. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to do so---many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my personal collection, and there are many more records of all genres to get to yet. Many of these still to be listed records are quite rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in super good shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time.
