Description
A nice copy of the classic and much-sought after "Anthems in Eden" 1969 album by Shirley and Dolly Collins accompanied by David Munrow et al on period instruments.
The vinyl grades VG+ with some hairlines and light scratches visible under the strongest light. Under stringent play testing, there are a few faint ticks near the start of side one but it settles down well with only the odd pop and tick, certainly no extended repetitive clicks and crucially no crackle, important on this album with it's frequent quiet instrumentation.
The gatefold sleeve is conservatively graded VG++ and would have been graded EX++ were it not for a drill hole (pictured), often found on US albums and usually denoting either catalogue deletion or use as a promotional copy. Otherwise the front, back and gatefold inner are in nigh on perfect condition being bright, clean and firm and without any writing nor sticker residue. The spine (pictured) is perfect and the labels clean and unmarked.
The inner sleeve is the white generic original, complete with corresponding drill hole.
If you don't fancy paying well in excess of £100 for a respectable Harvest (UK) copy, this one might make for a reasonable alternative at only a slice of the price!

For your information the gradings I use are as follows:-
Mint (M) - Brand New (Sealed)
Near mint (NM) - Looks almost unplayed * Cover almost brand new
Excellent (EX) - Maybe a light scuff but otherwise great condition * Cover will have some wear/slight crease/faint ring wear etc
Very good (VG) - Could have scuffing and some light scratches etc *Cover might have some creasing/fading/ring wear/marks or writing but still reasonable condition
Good (G) - Should play through ok but will have plenty of scratches etc * Cover could be ripped/stained/unglued etc
Fair - Very ordinary/ Might play but most likely just for the collection* Cover will be pretty terrible.
