Description
Shirley Collins and the Albion Country Band LP - No Roses, UK first pressing on Pegasus from 1970, catalogue number PEG 7.
The matrix numbers are:
Side A (crossed through): CAS 1047A-1U
Side A: PEG 7A-1U
Side B (crossed through): CAS 1047B-1U
Side B: PEG 7B-1U

The record is in EX-/VG+ condition. There are some light hairlines, none of which cause any problems. However, the reason for grading it as I have, is that there are 2 small "lumps" on track 4 of side B. Despite spoiling the look of the vinyl, they do not seem to cause any clicking or jumping. I have played the track a few times on a mid range system, and I can't detect any problem. It plays well, with hardly any background noise, just the occasional click and pop.
The gatefold sleeve is EX. No tears, sdge splits or writing, and a completely legible spine. There is nothing much wrong with it except that when it was originally folded to create the gatefold, it is not perfectly square. This means that the back part of the gatefold sits up a little from the front when viewed from the front, and the same at the bottom when viewed from the back. (The picture of the back of the sleeves shows what I mean)
