Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare U.K. 1st pressing of Shirley and Dolly Collins – Anthems in Eden on the Harvest label, cat. no. SHVL 754 with no EMI box and the “Sold in U.K.” remark on the labels!
The record is in VG++ to EX minus condition, there are some non-sounding hairlines only. The labels are in VG++ condition, the previous owner has written his name on both sides in the Harvest logo and there are very a couple spindle marks on both sides.
The cover is in VG+ condition, there some light handling wear along the top seam, the spine has a couple small bald spots and the previous owner has written his name and the purchase date on in the top right corner on the inside of the gatefold.
This is an extremely rare 1st U.K. pressed Harvest album by Shirley and Dolly Collins. This record is very difficult to find as a first pressing with no EMI box and the “Sold in U.K.” statement on the labels. This statement was removed from all EMI records after July 1969, so there are only a few copies pressed of this album with the statement. This is your chance to own this extremely rare first U.K. pressing of Shirley and Dolly Collins’ Anthems in Eden album, a real must have for all Folk music and / or Harvest collectors!
Please also look at my other Harvest / Vertigo Swirl and other progressive records auctions! Happy Bidding!
