You are bidding on a rare, original Northern Soul 45 rpm record from 1966 by Shirley Lawson, "One More Chance", and "The Star", on the Back Beat Records label #567. Stated on the labels is, "BACKBEAT RECORDS 5208 WYLIE HOUSTON TEXAS". This is the rare, promotional issue. Both sides of the labels state, "PROMOTIONAL NOT FOR SALE". One side of the labels also has, (XXX). The vinyl is in excellent condition. The labels are also excellent. The label with "The Star" side has written, at the left, in what looks like black marker, a date, and "TOP 100", as if this record may have been used at a radio station. This is a nice item and rare collectible of Northern Soul music. If this record sells for over $50.00, both insurance and signature confirmation will be required, both from domestic and international buyers.
