Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Beatles, Rolling Stones and some progressive records that are form my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare first Dutch pressing of Shocking Blue – Scorpio’s Dance on Pink Elephant, cat no. PE 877.022 Y complete with the full colour poster.
The record is in EX condition, there are a few non-sounding hairlines from removing the record from the inner sleeve only. The labels are in EX condition as well, with only very few spindle marks.
The sleeve is in VG++ condition, there is some slight handling and storage wear along the top and bottom and some very slight ring wear is coming through on the back, but further there is nothing wrong with the cover; no writing, no rips or tears or other damage.
The most important is the BIG poster. This one is in EX condition. There is nothing wrong with it, besides the fact that the poster has now been separated from the cover (originally, the poster was stuck to the inside of the gatefold, but after forty years, it came loose).
This is an extremely rare copy of the Shocking Blue’s Scorpio’s Dance album, complete with big poster. Most copies do not even have the poster anymore nowadays making this copy a very rare and collectible item. This is your chance to complete your Shocking Blue or Dutch Beat record collection. Please also note that the shipping costs are the same for 1 LP as for up to 5 LPs (the Dutch postal services charges the same amount up to 2KGs) So If you buy more, the shipping costs for your other LP’s are basically for free.
