Description
Short Circuit - Live at the Electric Circus Promo 10"
(Virgin Records VCL5003)
Entire package (Orange vinyl, sleeve, printed inner sleeve, poster and EP) is in near mint condition and still in the shrink.
I do not use the grades EX or M.
My grading scale is as follows:
Grading Scale Near Mint NM- VG+ VG VG-
A VG+ record should satisfy everyone but hardcore mint collectors.
I do not sell anything below VG- unless extremely rare.
Contrary to popular belief, this record has been reissued a couple of times with different coloured vinyl and labels.
This is the original, limited 1st pressing, promo on Orange vinyl.
There were only 300 [!] of these pressed and it is extremely, note: extremely rare, to begin with but especially in this condition.
It is also on the early 'Blue' Virgin label (not red/green) with the early catalog no.
It comes with the Mr. John Dowie "Another Close Shave" EP which is on Pink vinyl and a poster.
The entire shebang was recorded live at the closing weekend of Manchester's famous Electric Circus
in front of a members only audience.
This 10" is especially notable for the early Joy Division track 'At A Later Date' which can only be found here.
It also marks the first recording of Joy Division and at the time of the recording they were still known as "Warsaw."

This is a well preserved 29 year old Punk artifact and you'd be hard pressed to find one in better condition.
