Description

Up for auction is Mercury DM 21, three 12-inch 78rpm discs.

Dmitri Shostakovich (piano), David Oistrakh (violin), Milos Sadlo (cello) play: 
Trio in E Minor by Dmitri Shostakovich (complete on three records).
recorded in Prague, May 1946. 

Condition: discs are in very nice E+ condition. The album folder has a bit of damage near the top of the spine, otherwise it is in decent condition, just minor wear and tear. Notes are printed on the inside of the front cover of the album.

Grading scale: N, E, VG, G (+ or - signs will modify the basic grade for slightly better or worse).

Shipping: shellac 78s are placed between squares of cardboard, bound with tape, then floated in styrofoam in the box. This method of packing has proved extremely effective over the years for shipping fragile shellac 78s.
