PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. ORIGINAL 1965 first pressing in glorious mono with the big beat monaural boom, vastly different song mixes from the stereo issue ....pressed on Reprise steamboat label, and of one of the best early KINKS albums that delivers on the whole with their British Invasion garage rockin' sound laced with memorable pop sensibilities that would later flourish ...

The Kinks are peaking in their British Invasion R&B laced rave-ups and produce their first really good album, packed with hard-edged pop rock grooves that dispenses with most of the awkward R & B elements of their prior albums and embraces melody, harmony, and some interesting arrangements; the exception being "Milk Cow Blues," a garage-burner whose energy rescues it from the formulaic sound of some of those earlier excursions. Here's where the whole Kinks thing really takes off...

CONDITION: The cover: is solid all over, rated: "MINT" in factory cellophane. This copy has NO delette marks which is rare as most copies do have delete marks. Remains HIGHLY collectible as a 49 year old 60's teen scene artifact that will look fine in any music collection...no split seams, no bends, no writing.
The vinyl: is all shiny both sides, rated: "EX" (excellent) the play grade here was in clear excellent audio zones and both steamboat Reprise labels are CLEAN
