SHRINK!! MONO Pet Sounds THE BEACH BOYS 1st U.S. Capitol Records T 2458  pressing on rainbow labels in MONO!!! Original 1966 release pressed in Las Angeles as indicated by the * in the runouts. Cover features the original shrink wrap still mostly intact and has original "Gold Circle" store sticker on front cover. Also includes the original Capitol inner sleeve featuring other LPs released at the time including the Beatles Rubber Soul. Vinyl was test played for condition.
VINYL in VG+ condition, very nice sound quality, I test played the record fully to determine condition. There are occasional pops and very light crackle noticeable in quieter segments, but all around a very enjoyable listen, one of the cleanest sounding 1st pressings I have heard, most of these are trashed. Very few super light paper scuffs only, looks like some sleeve rash that does not affect the sound, labels look to be hardly played, almost no spindle wear at all!!!
COVER in VG++ with original shrink wrap still intact. The shrink is starting to lift from the rear cover near the spine (see photos). This lifting has exposed the cover, and where it has there is some staining/yellowing present The corner at the opening is bumped with a bit of paper loss/crackling about 1/2" down the spine, pretty minor. the opposite corner is bumped a bit. The shrink has protected the album from ring wear and seam/spine wear fortunately, and these appear in great shape through the shrink wrap. Cover in a dust jacket to protect shrink.
INNER SLEEVE in VG condition, the seams are splitting down the middle, but still intact. Corner wear.
