Description
I have decided over the next few months to sell some of my own record collection. It is varied in its content from 60/70's Folk and Rock to Classical. Some records I have owned since new, others I have carefully selected and picked up along the way.
Whilst I have owned them, they have only ever been played on a Michell Orbe turntable, fitted with an SME V tonearm and Lyra Delos cartridge. This plays through a Tom Evans Groove phono stage, Sim Audio Moon amplification and Sonus Faber Cremona M speakers. Not only is this a revealing system, giving me an accurate assessment of all records played on it, but it has, I hope, looked after the vinyl.
I clean my records on an Okki Nokki RCM and very carefully store them in new sleeves, in a smoke free enviroment.
All records sold, will be cleaned again and play checked before dispatch.
I will grade using the Record Collector system, erring on the side of caution, happy to discuss details with any buyers.

COLUMBIA - SAX 2379
Launched in 1958, this is one of the original Columbia "Blue and silver" records (see photo's). Like the Decca SXL Series & HMV ASD Series, a top quality recording - an Audiophiles delight...
Outer sleeve - EX-. The sleeve and laminate are completely intact. There are only a couple of tiny creases, but the edges/corners show no wear really. The cover does have a line, to the left of the face where the laminate has separated from the print (see Photo). But there are no signs of rubbing and if the sleeve did not have a general "aged" look, it would easily grade better.
Labels - Mint. I cannot see even the faintest mark of any kind.
Vinyl visualy - Mint. Under normal light there is nothing to be seen.
Vinyl play - EX (+). Plays beautifully throughout. There is minimal vinyl surface noise, not clicks/pops, revealed on my system during the quiet passages, which may not come across on others. This in no way detracts from a wonderful recording (I am quite fussy...)
