SIDNEY BECHET WITH "WILD BILL" DAVISON ON BLUE NOTE BLP-7001 10" LP NM-/NM- FIRST AND MOST RARE BECHET LP ON BLUE NOTE LABEL Tracks are: FIDGETY FEET, SISTER KATE, SHIM-ME-SHA-WABBLE, COPENHAGEN, NOBODY KNOW YOU, CHINA BOY, and BUDDY BOLDEN'S STORY. The cover has some very slight ringwear and the upper right corner has been bumped gently. All seams are tight (some of the color is scraped away for about 6 centimeters on the bottom seam toward the opening edge). The labels are intact. The vinyl is flawless. This LP plays remarkably quiet for a 1950 recording and pressing. The surface noise is almost imperceptible except in the quietest passages. The label has the 167 Lexington Ave NYC address on it. There is an "ear" in the dead wax. Goldmine says this LP in this condition is worth $400.00. I am a collector, not a dealer. And I like this LP so if you don't agree with the way I described it, send it back for a refund.
