Description
EP 6359: extremely rare and collectable 1967 EP by under-rated British entertainer Anita Harris. Best known for her smash hits "Just Loving You" and "Anniversary Waltz" and her appearances in two of the Carry On films. This nicely themed EP with four exclusive tracks, followed the success of her critically acclaimed 1966 debut album "Somebody's In My Orchard". Anita would go on to greater success but she never surpassed the quality of these two early gems. They prove she could compete with her better regarded contemporaries Dusty Springfield, Petula Clark, Cilla Black, Sandie Shaw and Lulu.
Produced by her manager husband Mike Margolis, who writes the introduction on the back. The EP features four jazz styled parables including a wild Beatles cover, a melancholic interpretation of the Cher classic "Bang Bang" and superb fan favorite "B.A.D. For Me", written by Harris and Margolis themselves.
