Description
For sale here is a beautiful ABC Monarch pressing of the stone cold blues classic "Live in Cook County Jail" by the great B.B. King. It's the US original, released in 1971 with the catalogue number ABCS-723. It was SIGNED by B.B. King with a black felt tip pen and has his AUTOGRAPH on front next to his picture.
Provenance: This LP comes from the collection of one of the main European r&b collectors and researchers. He started collecting autographs in the mid 60s and met many important blues musicians in the ensuing decades. Before his death in 2021, I bought a sizeable part of his huge record collection that also included hundreds of SIGNED albums. Ths signature is therefore 100 % authentic and genuine and comes with a detailed »Letter of Provenance«. Please buy with confidence and don't hesitate to enquire for more info, if necessary!
Condition: The vinyl looks clean, but plays with occasional background noise between vg and vg-. The cover including the signature is in beautiful M- condition, but has a tiny white sticker on front. I grade it vg/vg++.
