Description

For sale here is the LP "Sings The Blues" by the great bluesman Brownie McGhee. It's was released in 1959 on Folkways Records with the catalogue number FG 3557. This copy has a black Folkways label with silver lettering. The booklet is missing, but it was beautifully SIGNED by Brownie McGhee with a black felt tip pen on front.
Provenance: This LP comes from the collection of one of the main European r&b collectors and researchers. He started collecting autographs in the mid 60s and met many important blues musicians in the ensuing decades. Before his death in 2021, I bought a sizeable part of his huge record collection that also included hundreds of SIGNED albums. The signature is therefore 100 % authentic and genuine and comes with a detailed »Letter of Provenance«. Please buy with confidence and don't hesitate to enquire for more info, if necessary!
Condition: The vinyl looks clean but plays with occasional crackle and background noise (especially at start of record). The cover including the signature is in very decent shape with hardly any signs of age/wear. I grade it VG-/VG+.
