Description
Affectionately known as "The Queen of the Blues," Koko Taylor was an American singer whose style encompassed Chicago blues, electric blues, rhythm and blues and soul blues. She was known for her rough, powerful vocals which are on ample display in this classic release from Alligator Records (1978). This particular copy is a real treat for the serious collector. The vinyl itself is in fantastic, like-new condition. I took it for a test spin this morning and both sides play like it came home from the record store yesterday! The jacket shows a few minor signs of scuffing from shelfwear (visible in the gallery photos), but is entirely intact with no splits, tears, or stains.
And it is signed by the Queen herself--just try finding another signed Koko Taylor LP on eBay!
