Description
This is the original pressing of Mary Lou Williams “Music for Peace” on Mary Records (no catalogue number). The record appears to be unused, with a high luster. The cover, with artwork by David Stone Martin (with whom Williams had a deep friendship), has sharp corners and unworn seams; the bottom of the opening has a light discoloration on the front and a more visible discoloration on the back. The upper right corner of the front is signed “Sincerely, Mary Lou Williams.” Original annotated inner sleeve is included. Personnel include David Amram, Leon Atkinson, and Al Harewood.
