SOLOMON BURKE LP ROCK 'N SOUL (Atlantic Records 8096).
Very early US mono pressing. Twelve great songs in all. Solomon has autographed both the front & back covers. I believe that this was autographed way back in the mid-60s. The original printed inner sleeve has a few crinkles & creases, but it still looks pretty fine. These classic graphic illustrations greatly enhance this beautiful 1960s album. This album was released in 1964 on the vintage purple & red Atlantic label. Produced by Tom Dowd & Phil Iehle, with supervision by Jerry Wexler. (Matrix Number: "A 12087-B AT").
COVER - VG+
Cover shows no cut-out marks, water damage, price tags, or color fading. One-inch seam split on top. No front ring wear. Spine looks really nice & is readable. No sun washout. Label looks very nice. Sharp-cut hole free of spindle scuffs.
DISC - VG+
No significant scratches & no warping. Some scuffing & light flecks, with slight loss of rainbow sheen. No skips. The album has been safely stored upright in a climate-controlled environment.
