Description
Soundgarden Ultramega OK LP signed by Chris Cornell, Kim Thayil, Hiro Yamamoto, and Matt Cameron.
This album was purchased new, when the it came out in late 1988. The record was played with care, and has been stored carefully since the 1990's. The vinyl and sleeve are in VG+ to Excellent condition, and original insert is in mint condition.
All four members of Soundgarden signed the back cover after a performance in Western Massachusetts, in late-March 1989. The sleeve and album have additional writing/markings by the band, after passing the album back and forth a few times and trying to find a working marker:
- On back cover, Chris Cornell signed his name, defaced his photo, and wrote "Play Loud" on Side A label. He signed his photo a second time, once we found a fine, indelible marker.
- Front cover includes Kim Thayil's initial parital-signature, before he signed on the back.
- On front cover, Hiro Yamamoto added eyes to Matt Cameron and wrote "Giant Urban Instrument Terrorized & Assaulted Radio." On back cover, he wrote "I heart 667" and "Ultra Thanks".
