Description

[Item Description] Tonophone is well known as a Russian Pirate company. Examples are found bearing the original recording company matrix no. as in the case of the Signorini Side in this example, and others which bear no marks identifying the original recording, as in the case of the De Lucia side in this example. It looks (and sounds) as if the super-rare Signorini is pressed from masters

Francesco Signorini (Tenor) (Rome 1861 - Rome 1927)

Fernando De Lucia (11 October 1860 or 1 September 1861 – 21 February 1925) was an Italian opera tenor and singing teacher who enjoyed an international career.
