In a Frozen Sea: A year with Sigur Ros, follows Sigur Ros through their native Iceland during the TAKK world tour. Tracking over the Icelandic Countryside, AiR captured exclusive photographs, interviews and a unique insight into the band. The result of this endeavour; a lush thirty-two page soft-cover full colour publication of never before seen photographs, observations and quotes that captures the band in their words, in their world. Encased in a 12" x 12" jacket, In A Frozen Sea: A Year with Sigur Ros, is a collectors item that no Sigur Ros fan will want to be without.
This booklet also includes a COMPLETE set of the bands studio albums (except Von) all on 12" vinyl. Please note that this is NOT the hard-cover deluxe edition but it DOES include all the records contained in it! All these records are supplied in paper sleeves only. I have also graded them collectively between VG and NM as there are a few minor imperfections here and there which do not really distract from the over-all listening experience. One disc also has a slight warp which means that the first track jumps on one side - the remainder is fine. It might even be fixable if you know your vinyl. All up its a great deal!
Its a brilliant opportunity for a fan to get all THREE of Sigur Ros's Double LP's : AGAETIS BYRJUN, ( ), and TAKK all in one hit AND as a bonus you will receive the unreleased LP SMASKIFA. PLUS of course you also will get to own a beautiful mint copy of the full-colour coffee-table/artbook as well.
The set (when sold in its hard cover) normally retails online at around US$200 including shipping - do an ebay search or google it and check it out! I've also seen it on sale locally in Sydney for A$336!! This pressing is also a limited run of 5000 Worldwide and is sure to be collectable. The 32 page booklet alone normally retails at US$20 plus shipping. I am starting this bid at only 0.99c!

RECORD GRADING
ALL records have been fully listened to, and are audibly and visually graded so that you can buy with confidence. The system used is based on the GOLDMINE method and is the most respected. Your order will include a grading sheet which will note anything of significance. All records will be sent in sturdy purpose-made mailers for protection. The Vinyl Mix is not responsible for any damages, but will consider any issues on individual merit. I want you to enjoy your purchases!
Still Sealed (SS): Record has never been opened. A record that has never been opened is assumed to be as new. However as it can't be listened to or graded there is no real certainty as to its condition.
Near Mint (NM): No surface noise. A nearly perfect record. There may be one or two small inaudible defects. The record should show no obvious signs of wear. A 45 RPM or EP sleeve should have no more than the most minor defects, such as almost invisible ring wear or other sights of slight handling. An LP jacket should have no creases, folds, seam splits or any other noticeable similar defect. No cut-out holes, either.
Near Mint (NM-): No surface noise. A record that should play mint but has a few slight visible marks. The album will have as much luster as an NM, there just may be some scuffs from the sleeve or very light scratches that shouldn't be audible. An NM- album cover subjectively fits somewhere in between VG+ and NM.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Signs of wear but no significant surface noise. A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don’t affect one’s listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. The center hole will not have been misshapen by repeated play. Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned-up corners, or a slight seam-split. An LP jacket may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount.
Very Good (VG): Surface noise evident on playing, especially in soft passages, and during a song's intro and fade, but never overpowers the music. Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, just two or three of them.
Good (G): Significant surface noise, scratches that will produce noise, but will play without skipping. Good does not mean Bad! A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play though without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. A jacket or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the subject.
Poor (P), or Fair (F): Won't play through without skipping or repeating. The record is cracked, badly warped, and won’t play through without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeve is water damaged, split on all three seams and heavily marred by wear and writing. The LP jacket barely keeps the LP inside it. Inner sleeves are fully seam split, crinkled, and written upon.
