This record is in excellent+ condition. It has spindle marks visible on the labels but no pen marks, scuffs or fading anywhere. The centres are not loose and overall the labels are in good shape, with just the spindle marks to report.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are beautifully clean with next to nothing visible in normal light. There are a few incredibly light wispy lines visible under very bright white light, but not many and of course nothing remotely serious. The record has no scuffs or blemishes and has a beautiful vivid shine. It is in remarkable condition for its age and despite being played(spindle marks), it has obviously been well cared for.
I play tested the record and it plays near perfectly. It lays completely flat, there is no movement in the record arm and the sound produced is superb and near faultless. Its crisp, dynamic and really clear, with virtually no interference at all. There is maybe the slightest trace of static between songs and in the run in but this is really minor and on my system there is next to nothing audible. It is an audio experience of high quality and was a pleasure to play test such a classic album in such great shape for nearly 50 years old.
The sleeve is in excellent+ condition. It has next to no wear to the edges and corners(pics), and the writing on the spine is all clearly legible. There are no tears or scuffs anywhere but there is a pen mark towards the top left corner on the back. Other than this there is some mild age related discolouring to the back and also some very minor creasing to the laminated front. All these issues are pretty minor however and overall it is strong, clean and in great shape.
It contains its original CBS inner which is in excellent+ condition with no splits, tears or pen marks and only very slight creasing to report.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
