Description
- Simon And Garfunkel released their double-disc live recording of "The Concert In Central Park" in February 1982 on Warner Bros. Records. It contains 19 songs from the legendary concert that were recorded by The Record Plant mobile truck on September 19, 1981 at the Great Lawn in New York City's Central Park. The free concert was attended by more than 500,000 fans.
- This very rare Promo copy (2BSK 3654) is Brand New and is still Sealed in its original Factory Shrink Wrap from 1982. This First Pressing is in mint condition as is the original 12-page color Deluxe Booklet insert. Please see the pictures, but note that because it is sealed, the photos of the disc labels, interior gatefold, and booklet are from another copy. It was mastered by Greg Calbi at Sterling Sound in NYC and was most likely pressed at either the Capitol Records plant in Winchester, VA, Allied Record Co. in Los Angeles, or Europadisk in NYC, but it is impossible to tell for sure without opening it and looking at the dead wax.

- This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 39 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
